I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend and now the owner of Sanaandi Events & Hospitality. I have always had a passion for hosting people and as my friends and family would tell you: I make an “event” out of every get together! So starting Sanaandi Events & Hospitality is simply a dream fulfilled.

More About Masana

I began my career after graduating with a BCOM Finance from Wits University as in Internal Auditor in various companies within the First Rand Group. After gaining valuable auditing experience, I left the corporate world to work with my parents as the Finance Manager in the family construction business.

It was during this time that my friends and I started an events company, Blaque Daiquiri. My passion and drive for events took off like wildfire, unlike drafting finance spreadsheets and reconciling expenditures, producing events made my creative juices flow. However, Blaque Daiquiri was short-lived as everyone got busy with life…our respective work commitments increased; we got married, had children and some furthered their studies.

The experience and lessons I learned from being part of the family business was the launching pad to starting my own company. My parents taught me that you need to have passion for the things that you do. Passion is what keeps a business owner going even when the business is down: it’s what makes you get out of bed every day determined to learn more and do more, and it is what separates real companies and so-called “fly-by-night” companies.

The name Sanaandi is a fusion of all my daughter’s names in one; Sanaa, Nandi and Londi. The butterfly represents transformation…from a caterpillar to a butterfly, from something simple to something spectacular. This is what I wish for my daughters, to always transform to be the best version of themselves. This is what I want to do with every event I produce, to bring out that extra in extraordinary events. So, Sanaandi, is a dedication to my daughters, it is the answer to making your event moments into memories and it’s the journey towards my self-development. As my husband would say, every dream is within reach, the only limitations are those in your mind.
